Dr. Argüelles Arias is a leading specialist in gastroenterology. He has many years of experience in the profession and extensive training in various areas of the specialty. Specifically, he is an expert in dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease and hiatal hernia, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, capsule endoscopy and ultrasound, nutrition, and intragastric balloons, among others.
Throughout his professional career, he has combined clinical practice with teaching, serving as an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Virgen Macarena University Hospital.
